Afin de profiter du buzz médiatique créé par la sortie le 11 juin 2010 aux États-Unis du film l'Agence Tous Risques, l'éditeur IDW Publishing publiera une série limitée en quatre épisodes, co-écrite par Joe Carnahan, réalisateur du film, et Tom Waltz, qui s'est spécialisé dernièrement dans les comic-books inspirés de films ou jeux vidéos ( Legion: Prophets, Silent Hill: Sinner's Reward).
L'artiste engagé pour illustrer ce projet est Stephen Mooney, dont les derniers projets ont prouvé ses capacités à faire ressembler les personnages dessinés aux acteurs, souvent au détriment d'une fluidité artistique ( Angel Annual , Angel: Not Fade Away, The Mummy Movie Prequel: The Rise & Fall of Xango's Ax, CSI: Dying in the Gutters) tandis que les couvertures seront dessinées par John K. Snyder III (vous pouvez voir en avant-première dans le message suivant les esquisses des couvertures des épisodes 3 & 4, prévus pour le mois d'avril 2010).
L'intrigue de la série limitée The A-Team: Shotgun Wedding sera centrée sur une mission inédite durant laquelle ce groupe de mercenaires aux grands cœurs tenteront de stopper une attaque terroriste durant un mariage se déroulant à Las Vegas. Avec le Colonel John 'Hannibal' Smith déguisé en révérend, le Sergent Bosco Albert 'B.A' Baracus en chauffeur de limousine, le Capitaine H. M. 'Howling Mad' Murdock en cuistot et pour finir, le Lieutenant Templeton 'Faceman' Peck en... jeune marié ?!
