PSYLOCKE #1-2 (Christopher Yost / Harvey Tolibao)
Dès le mois de novembre 2009, l'éditeur Marvel Comics publiera une série limitée en quatre épisodes consacrée à la mutante télépathe Psylocke, réapparue récemment dans l'arc “Sisterhood” dans Uncanny X-Men #508-511.
Le personnage ayant été maltraité à de nombreuses reprises par plusieurs scénaristes (Fabian Nicieza et toute la saga Psylocke/Kwannon, Ben Raab et Crimson Dawn, Chris Claremont et ses morts/résurrections/changements de dimensions dans X-Treme X-Men & Exiles), cela n'est pas prêt de s'arranger avec la présence de Chris Yost ( Red RobinX-Force) au poste de scénariste de cette série limitée. En effet, il a choisi l'angle le moins intéressant du personnage (la ninja avec la dague psychique) et une intrigue qui ne sort pas des sentiers battus, avec un énième combat contre des ninjas et le chef yakusa Matsu'o Tsurayaba :

Matsu'o Tsurayaba is involved. There's a very specific reason that she wants him dead, and there's a very exciting villain that she has to overcome to make this happen. In this story, it became Psylocke fighting ninjas in Japan and that stuff, but there's a very personal story to it. It's deadly personal to Psylocke. It's her body.

Cette série limitée sera dessinée par l'artiste philippin Harvey Tolibao ( War of Kings : Darkhawk, Starwars : Knights of the Old Republic).
